Job Functions :

  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals including system administrators, network engineers, and help desk technicians. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

  • Managing and reporting on the IT budget’s allocation.

  • Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.

  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.

  • Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs.

  • Responsible for managing support on all IT Applications at stores, eg. ERP system (POS system).

  • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

  • Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/ Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.

  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the managerial role

  • Experience in managing IT operations, including infrastructure, software, and personnel. Preferably with experience from a retail company.

  • Strong analytical skills and able to work under pressurized situations.

  • Positive attitude, responsible, creative and able to work independently.

  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
