What is a H.E.A.R.T Program?

HEART stands for Hero Enhancement Advance Retail Training which aims to train & build a strong foundation of retail management for future Managers in the retail industry. This program is a one (1) year intensive on-the-job learning program of a supermarket retail business that is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to qualify as a leader upon successfully completing the program.

Throughout this program, you will work and train alongside experienced senior personnel in various departments with the intention that you will get to know the nuts and bolts of our Company’s functions and operations. You will be exposed in all operations departments which are groceries, fresh market, goods receiving, e-commerce, cashiering and security that will accelerate your understanding, knowledge and skills.

  • Understand each department’s (Groceries, Fresh Market, e-Commerce, Goods Receiving, Cashier and Security) daily processes and goals.

  • Manage and handle all aspects of the assigned department.

  • Perform product management duties which include replenishment, display, preparation, trimming, cutting and packaging.

  • Perform fulfillment of E-Commerce based on customer’s order listing and generate daily sales reports.

  • Able to understand and follow the planogram set for the selling floor.

  • Perform daily inventory checking and reports according to Company SOP.

  • Exercise the knowledge of FIFO, forwarding and controlling of expired stocks.

  • Assist in goods receiving from suppliers or distribution centers (DC).

  • Able to understand and exercise the process of disposal and return damaged stocks.

  • Monitor and update list of pricing on shelf for all the stocks in the department.

  • Monitor and handle the ordering process of stocks in the respective department.

  • Analyze the market trends and promotional events.

  • Familiarize and operate devices such as handheld scanners, cashiering machines, weighing machines, etc.

  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints in the outlet.

  • Train new staff on product knowledge and display of assigned departments.

  • Achieve sales target set by the Company.

  • Any other ad-hoc task assigned by the Management.

  • Candidates must be aged 27 years old and below.

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • No Experience required.

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in any field.

  • Open to explore new experiences and willing to work extra hours.

  • Willing to transfer from outlet to outlet

  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, good interpersonal skill, able to multitask and work under pressure.
