MERCHANDISING EXECUTIVE

Job Functions :

  • Assist Buyers with overall daily tasks such as filing of paper works, negotiations, sourcing of new merchandises, etc.
  • Learn and assist in negotiating terms of purchasing with suppliers to achieve the best deal for the company.
  • Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
  • Follow up and ensure delivery of products are on time and compliance with the contracts of purchase.
  • Assist with monitoring stock levels and plans for buying within budget.
  • Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already on our shelves.
  • Assist in analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
  • Liaise with Department Head and Store Manager to ensure supply meets demands.
  • Be resourceful for new products / festive products.
  • Any other ad hoc task assigned by the Management.


Requirements :

  • Candidates must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any field.

  • At least 2 – 3 years of experience as a retail buyer or relevant role.

  • Possess own transport and willing to travel, work extra hours and on Public Holidays.

  • Possesses good communication skill, negotiation skill, updated with market trend, leadership, display & merchandising skill.

  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, good interpersonal skill, able to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Willing to be based atKampung Baru Subang, Selangor.
